Four of the best footvolley teams in the world join the organization with the objective of accelerating the professionalization of one of the fastest growing sports in Brazil
With the objective of making footvolley an increasingly structured and commercially attractive sport, the World Footvolley announces, this Thursday (15/07), a partnership with the main teams of the modality. There are eight of the most renowned athletes of today, who form four pairs (two males and two females): Natalia Guitler and Bianca, Lana and Josy, Vinicius and Paraná and Felipe and Renan. All were selected based on results from the first season of the World Football League (WFL).
“In any sport, the idol is a fundamental piece to set an example to consumers. We are confident with this step towards generating value for the entire footvolley ecosystem.” evaluates Luiz Gomes, CEO and founder of WF.
In addition to including the athletes in the process of standardizing the sport, the project includes an investment in the dissemination of promotional campaigns, support in attracting commercial partners, developing experiences with amateur athletes and launching new WF products.
“As in any sport, we athletes need a calendar with standardized tournaments, to generate value for our image and for our partners. The continuous work of WF is fundamental for the growth of footvolley as an attractive offer in the sports market.” Analyzes Natalia Guitler, the current champion of World Footvolley.
Since its creation, the World Footvolley highlights the importance of female inclusion for the growth of the sport. During the first season of the World Footvolley League (WFL), four editions of the “queen of the beach” dispute were held, including the participation of athletes from 7 different nationalities.
“Footvolley has been growing a lot and WF's work seeks above all to professionalize our sport, valuing athletes. I feel honored to be part of this project and I am available to contribute where necessary.” reinforces Vinicius, WFL champion in 2019.
Through this and other actions, WF seeks to structure the sport and gain more and more space in the national and international market; "one of the main objectives of World Footvolley is to highlight the great idols of the sport and, soon, share with thousands of new fans, a new reality in footvolley;" concludes Luiz.

Founded in 2016, the World Footvolley emerged with the mission of raising the recognition and credibility of footvolley in the sports market, developing its value as a modality and offer of entertainment, to make it increasingly practiced and commercially attractive. In the first season of the WFL (2019), it brought together more than 15 different countries in four international stages, based in Brazil, Israel and Spain. In addition, it had international broadcasts and more than 100 hours of live streaming, which resulted in a series (WF Stars), which recounts all this international experience. WF was responsible for creating the first world ranking of the sport.
